A Technical Second Opinion Before You Commit the Budget
We help you decide what to build, what to buy, and what to leave alone — technology strategy, vendor selection, and IT budget planning from people who aren't trying to sell you the answer they happen to offer.
- Vendor-neutral recommendations, not a sales pitch
- Advice scoped to what your business can realistically execute
- Works standalone or ahead of any other engagement
Where We Advise
Each of these can be a standalone engagement, or the first step before a build begins.
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
A prioritised plan for what to fix, replace, or build over the next 12 to 24 months, tied to your actual business goals.
Vendor & Tool Selection
An independent comparison of the platforms and vendors you're considering, based on your requirements rather than a referral fee.
IT Budget Planning
A realistic breakdown of what your IT needs actually cost this year, so budget conversations aren't built on guesswork.
Digital Transformation Guidance
Practical, phased guidance for moving off manual processes and legacy systems without disrupting the business that depends on them.
Technical Due Diligence
An outside assessment of a system, codebase, or vendor proposal before you sign a contract or make an acquisition decision.
Pre-Project Scoping
An independent scope and cost estimate you can use to evaluate quotes from us or from anyone else.
From Question to Written Recommendation
Discovery Conversation
We start with the actual decision you're facing — a purchase, a budget, a direction — not a generic IT review.
Research & Assessment
We look at your current setup, the options on the table, and the constraints that are specific to your business.
Written Recommendation
You get a clear, documented recommendation with the reasoning behind it — something you can bring into a board or budget meeting.
Optional Execution Support
If you want us to carry the recommendation through to a build or migration, that becomes its own separately scoped engagement.
Built for the Decision You Can't Delegate
Facing a Major Platform Decision
Choosing between competing vendors or systems, with real cost and switching implications either way.
Planning Next Year's IT Budget
Needing a defensible number for leadership, not a rough guess based on last year's invoice total.
No Internal IT Leadership
A growing SMB making technology decisions without a CTO or IT director on staff to weigh in.
Common Questions
Do you only recommend your own services?
No. Consulting engagements are scoped and priced separately from any build work, and the recommendation is based on what's right for your business — even when that means a smaller engagement, or none at all.
Can you review a proposal or quote we've already received from another vendor?
Yes — this is one of the most common reasons businesses bring us in. We'll give you a plain assessment of whether the scope, timeline, and cost look reasonable.
How long does a consulting engagement take?
A focused question can be answered in days; a full technology roadmap takes longer. We'll scope the timeline to the actual decision in front of you.
Do we have to commit to a full project afterward?
No. The recommendation is yours to act on however you choose — with us, with another vendor, or on your own.
Tell Us What Decision You're Facing
We'll give you a straight, written recommendation — no obligation to build anything afterward.
